IP address from a host name

Suppose, i have to find the IP address of the host http://www.google.com, i will simply open the command line and type:

host http://www.google.com

or

nslookup http://www.google.com

it will show the IP address.
Now, we have the IP , and we want to know who is there at that IP, simply write the following on console:

whois (IP address)

host-whois

host-whois

w.
